TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

  • The membership of the association is open to all who have completed the age of 18 years and who agree with the aims and objectives of the association . They shall have to abide by the rules and regulations of the said association . Membership will be allowed after consideration and approval of the managing committee . Managing committee keeps the right to reject any application for membership without giving specific reasons.

  • MEMBERSHIP REGISTRY

    A membership registry containing names, contact details and such other details of all members as the General Body may deem appropriate shall be maintained by the Secretary of the Society and treated with due care.

     

    Entrance fee of Rs. 5,000 /- shall be payable for ALL categories of members and annual subscriptions shall be payable by members for the ensuing year and the amounts shall be as follows:

    A.    Institutional Members (upto 4 representatives) Rs.  1,50,000 /-
    B.    Corporate Membership, including Partnership firms (upto 2 representatives.) Rs.   75,000 /-
    C.    Senior Advocates Rs.   25,000 /-
    D.    Advocates with more than 10 years experience. Rs.   10,000 /-
    E.    other professionals in the Maritime industry Rs. 10,000 /-
    F.    Advocates with less than 5 years experience. Rs. 5,000 /-
    G.    Honorary Membership. NIL
    H.    Associate Membership. NIL


    In addition to the above mentioned yearly membership fees, members falling under categories. (A) To (F) have to pay an entry fee of Rs. 5000.00
    Honorary membership is conferred on persons who have rendered special services in the advancement of the objects of the CM – India. They shall no pay subscription.
    Associate membership is granted by the managing committee to such qualified persons and meritorious law students found appropriate in the advancement of the objects of the CM-I. However they shall pay no subscriptions.
